Have you ever had a radiator leak in the middle of nowhere? Have you ever heard about using an egg to temporarily stop the engine leak and get you to a mechanic? It does work, although only temporarily and only for very minor pinholes or the tiniest cracks. After consulting with a master mechanic, it appears to be true. The egg whites will seal very small leaks. Don’t think this will get you far though. Egg will eventually deteriorate and the leak will come back. Additionally, when you get the leak fixed properly, make sure the cooling system is flushed to get rid of all the remaining egg white.

For the person who is looking for a way to seek revenge on an enemy, putting sugar cubes in their gas tanks will not work. It has been thought for a long time that sugar in someone’s gas tank will destroy the fuel injectors and cause the car not to run. This just isn’t true. The molecular weight of gas compared to the molecular weight of sugar doesn’t allow for the sugar to do anything but dissolve slightly and then sink to the bottom of the gas tank with the other debris. The end result: no drivability difference at all.

When you are considering your car, and the engine, you are going to want to also consider the filters that are in the car, including air filter, in order to ensure that you are breathing in the cleanest air when you are driving, and in order to ensure that you are getting the max performance out of your car. When you filters are dirty, and full of dust, you are going to find that the car is going to lack in performance, and is not going to run as smoothly, and your AC is not going to perform at the optimal levels. The whole story can be found at http://mydecorarticles.com/ideas-on-protecting-your-air-purifier/3833/ So, when you are considering the replacement filters, it is possible to get great filters, without having to pay an arm and a leg at the mechanic, when you know where to buy your filters, and when you know which are the best brands that you are going to want to consider, when you are buying your new air filters. No matter which filter you end up buying, you have to find those that are going to give you the best performance, the best blockage, and those that are going to protect your car and the way it rides.

We’ve all had it happen to us. We come out to our car after a long day at work or a hectic afternoon filled with errands only to find that the car won’t start. Maybe you left the lights on, or maybe the door wasn’t shut good. Regardless, a dead battery is still a huge inconvenience. Traditionally, jumper cables have been the rescue tool of choice. All you need is this set of cables and a second car.

What if there’s no other car around? That’s when it is handy to have a battery operated jump starter in the trunk. There are two types of these. Some clamp onto the car battery while newer ones plug into the cigarette lighter.

These jump starters work differently than jumper cables. The cables can instantly start the car by using the second car’s battery. However, jump starters have their own battery source which slowly transfers electricity over a period of 5 to 10 minutes.

Jump starters are very convenient to have, especially if you might be caught without another car around. Just be sure to charge the battery in them routinely as they will slowly lose their charge even when not in use.

Whatever the case these celebs love cars more than the average person and that makes them a-okay in our book
Jay Leno: the quintessential car collector, Jay’s all about classic cars. He’s rumored to have dozens but Jay loves to give back to the car community as well. He’s got a penchant for anything blue and shiny so if you own a Mazerati, look out.
Nicolas Cage: though Nic cage is constantly plagued by financial issues he’s got a real love for cars. He’s got over 10 and a specially built garage for his favorites and he’s been photographed around town in LA driving one of many.
Tim Allen: Tim the Tool Man Taylor hasn’t been on TV in a while but he’s from Motor City so you shouldn’t be surprised he loves cars. Need a girlfriend? Need to sell or buy really anything you might find in a classifieds listing? Say goodbye forever to CareerBuilder, eHarmony and Craig’s List, it’s time to get behind the wheel of your life and put it in gear towards happiness. Never again depend on others to “put in a good word” on your behalf, from now on, you can control you own reputation. With your very own mobile billboard advertising truck, a quick trip to Kinko’s is all it takes to get the streets buzzing. Take self-promotion to all new heights, with your resume, picture and or personal ad proudly blown up and on display for all to see. With space available on both sides and the rear face, this multipurpose vehicle can market various facets of your being in one fell swoop. Be advised a certain level of strategic planning should go into effect as to assure mixed messages don’t undermine one another. For example, highlighting your unemployment status might overshadow the fact that you are also unattached, decent looking and disease-free. Perhaps a more integrated “Imagine the Possibilities” tag, coupled with a thousand-yard-gaze hero shot of you in your finest suit, could suffice for both business and pleasure. As far as the vehicle itself, the lime green exterior is sure to capture attention, and with only 36,000 miles so far, it’s a safe bet to make the long trip from down in the dumps to professional and domestic bliss. Complete with lighting to let your message shine 24/7, as far as dating goes, you can put your ad to use on not only your quest for true love, but after hour excursions as well. While on the job hunt, feel free to travel to out of town interviews (of which many will inevitably be secured soon after your purchase) with no fear of getting lost, courtesy of billboard truck’s GPS service. Don’t just drive to survive, wasting time as move meaninglessly from place to place, rather drive to thrive and merge into the fast lane towards success.

Buy It Now Price: 59.99Go To Auction:<a href="> HEREIt seems like yesterday that Nordic hordes of Vikings were pillaging countryside from Scandinavia to Constantinople. Actually, such raids took place from the 790′s on up to 1066, but for passer-bys on the open road it can be as if Norsemen of centuries past have come back from the grave to wreak havoc on the highway. With the 3D Skull Viking Airbrush Motorcycle Helmet, feel free to plunder at will, with your face is entirely concealed by skull, either that of a Viking warrior making a posthumous return, or a handy skull-mask fashioned out of a fallen victim (depending on your artistic interpretation). Whether mounted atop your motorhorse, dressing up for Halloween or just going for trying to fit in at the Biker Bar down the street, Skull Viking is a can’t miss look, sure to evoke the admiration of your peers. Topping off the helmet, quite literally, protrude two noticeable, but sizeably manageable horns, in classic Viking fashion. For a buy in now price of only 59.99, this new, unused and never-been-worn item is available for purchase in its original packaging. With sizes available from Small all the way up to Extra Large, even little Viking lads and lasses can look just like their bone-crushing pop. Weighing just 800 grams and lined with soft padding, never before has barbaric outwear reached such a level of comfort. And don’t be afraid of fishing for food while wearing your helmet, as Scandinavian tradition would entail, as this handmade helmet is water resistant. Note that this helmet will cover your entire face and head, with goggled eye sockets, so if that level of enclosure is not something you are comfortable with, you may want to look elsewhere for headgear.THIS HELMET DOES NOT MEET ANY SAFETY STANDARDS

You simply can’t get enough of that wave-running rumble as you twist the accelerator full throttle towards an oncoming wake? Unfortunately, there’s no app for that. Don’t fret, however, as the Kawakasaki Sea Doo Telephone has finally combined your love for jet skiing with the basic need to communicate with others. Sure, the iPhone and Droid may have more advanced internet and texting options (the Kawasaki phone provides basic call dialing/receiving functions only), but aesthetically speaking, they offer only marginal improvement over slim, flat rocks. Instead, the Kawasaki Sea Doo phone helps convey a persona, perfect for landlines but perhaps too bold for land-lovers.Not since Wave Race 64 has the jet ski experience been so closely replicated indoors, adding a few tricks to your traditional telephone repertoire. “Barrel roll” across the couch while chatting it up with the cable company, maybe throw in a “two-hand stand” to pass the time with longwinded Uncle Roy, all the while whoever’s listening will be none the wiser to your newfound novelty phone fun (do not attempt the “submarine dive” to avoid electrocution risk). The Kawasaki Sea Doo phone is the perfect accessory for any lake or beach home, accenting a room’s interior with just a touch of lighthearted humor, a safe bet to start up a conversation on its end of the line in the instance an incoming call leaves you at a loss for words.

For the more contemporary aspiring biker, this 23 patch leather vest will help to provide all the street cred (open road cred, to be more accurate) one could possibly hope for, seamlessly blending the increasingly popular trend towards no-sleeve outerwear with witty one-liners and intimidating icons that convey authentic biker attitude. Let your vest do the talking with gems like “Ride it like you stole it” and “Bad ass boys ride bad ass toys,” so even men of few words can instantly speak volumes about who not to mess with. If perhaps you think a vest a is a little too metro, maybe more Seacrest than Seagal (Ryan and Steven respectively), consider ditching the undershirt ensemble all together, leaving the passerby world free to read arm tats at their own peril, also avoiding any “conceal and carry” confusion with your guns fully exposed to each and every onlooker. With its black leather base material, this vest is sure to scream biker, even if the screaming, flame engulfed skull found on the lower back falls on deaf ears. Though the patches may give insights into your own budding biker personality, this vest offers a clean slate ready for its own road-tested battle stories, as the never before worn item comes complete in its original packaging. Remember, being a biker is a way of life; you’ll need lot more than just a bike to back it up.

On the other hand, a timeless classic not only gets you from A to B, but also provides decades of history, a vintage feel and an automatic conversation piece. With this archetypal Honda model, enjoy the same 250CC engine power that helped Moses outrun the dinosaurs in a world before paved roads.Originally hailing from the decade of disco, this 1977 ATV runs like a newer machine, complete with the stylings of yesteryear. Though predominantly used for off-roading, the ’77 ODYSSEY might as well be a time machine, taking your mind on a one way trip to a better time, when there were no bigger concerns than gaining the night’s entry into Studio 51 and/or pairing a pleated pair of bellbottoms with the properly sequined shirt. Of course, in a sweet ride like this one, drivers look fly no matter what the attire. A faded yellow exterior combined with an Atari-esque steering wheel makes this particular ATV irreverently retro, perfect for any nostalgia filled motor enthusiast or modern day Andretti who knows how to tastefully bring back the basics.Just like the simpler times in which it rolled off the line, the ’77 ODYSSEY rolls up with ease, courtesy of completely automatic transmission. The perfect blend of retro chic and automotive convenience, this off-road original is a one of kind ATV, perfect for start-up drivers or savvy vets with a flair for the old school funk.
